Special Notice Regarding Minors

We do not intentionally collect personal data from minors under the age of 14. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will immediately delete it. Tai Pan Tailor (hereinafter referred to as “Tai Pan Tailor,” “we,” or “us”) may from time to time invite you to provide us with personal data, such as your name, date of birth, contact telephone number, mailing address, email, payment details and methods. We may also collect special categories of data necessary for our services, such as body measurements and style preferences, to ensure the perfect fit of your custom garments.

Process your online appointment services for measuring consultation, fabric selection, fitting sessions, and garment alterations;
Create and maintain your personal measurement profile and style history to facilitate future orders and the “First-Order Remake Assurance”;
Verify your identity and/or online purchase records;
Process your event registration and attendance;
Process your product transactions;
Process your warranty, alteration, or remake requests (which may involve the submission of photographs for quality assessment);
Process your product refund requests;
Arrange appointments with our master tailors;
Process your subscription to our newsletters;
Provide you with various customer services, responses, telephone replies, and answer inquiries;
Promote and market our products and services to you;
Conduct customer surveys;
Conduct data research or statistical analysis;
Maintain our interests and prevent any security threats (including but not limited to threats to our IT infrastructure);

Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Data

For the above purposes, we may transfer your personal data to the following categories of third parties: customer relationship management agents, marketing and public relations agents, e-commerce agents, market research institutions, and online payment systems. In the context of our “First-Order Remake Assurance” or warranty services, if a physical inspection is required, we may share your data with our logistics partners solely for the purpose of arranging the return and assessment. Regarding credit card data provided in any online order, unless we notify you otherwise, we will only share it with our payment partners and not with any other third parties, and will only use such data to process orders submitted by you through our payment partner’s system.

We may also transfer your personal data to any business partners, investors, assignors, or assignees (actual or potential) to facilitate business asset transactions involving the company (or extending to any merger, acquisition, or asset sale), or to any third party to whom we transfer or may transfer our rights and obligations.

User License and Retention of Personal Data

Customer Profile & Measurement Data: Retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter to support remake and warranty claims, as well as to facilitate future orders. You may request deletion of this data, but this may affect our ability to offer certain guarantees.
Transaction and Order Records: All transaction records will be retained for 7 years in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
Consultation Service Records: Including measuring consultations, style design consultations, and photos submitted for quality assessment, will be retained for up to 3 years to provide continuous customer service and reference for future orders.
Marketing Communication Preferences: Your marketing preference settings (such as whether to receive promotional information) will be retained until you explicitly withdraw your consent.
Website Usage Data: Including cookies and browsing records, generally retained for no more than 13 months.

Upon expiry of the above retention periods, we will securely delete your personal data or anonymize it so that it can no longer identify a specific individual. In cases where required by law or for dispute resolution, we may extend the retention period of relevant data.

When we reasonably believe that the retention of data no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected and is no longer required for legal or business purposes, we will cease retaining your personal data or delete the means by which the data can be linked to you.
