Terms and Conditions

Contract Validity

When you make a purchase or book a service through the Tai Pan Tailor website (www.taipantailor.com, “this Website”), you enter into a legally binding agreement with Tai Pan Tailor (“we”, “us”, “our”), which remains in effect until further notice.

After placing an order or submitting a booking request, you will receive a confirmation email at the address associated with your customer profile. It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and carefully verify all details in the confirmation to ensure all specifications (including style, fabric, and measurements) are correct.

If any modifications or corrections are necessary, please contact us immediately. However, once a custom garment has been cut and production has begun, no changes can be accommodated. The contract is deemed complete upon the successful delivery of your order or completion of the booked service.

Appointment Services

You may book the following services provided by Tai Pan Tailor through this Website:

Appointment for consultation and measuring
Fabric selection and style design consultation
Fitting session (for half-finished garment)
Garment alterations

All of the above services can be booked online and are provided by Tai Pan Tailor. You may book only one of the above services at a time. After completion of that service, you may book another service.

Acceptance of Appointments

To book any of the above services, you must complete the appointment form. You will receive an email notification confirming that we have received your request. Our customer service department or store staff may reconfirm your appointment details via email or telephone. We reserve the right to accept or reject any appointment at our sole discretion.

Modifying Appointments

You may modify the appointment date, time, or store location once within 24 hours of receiving the service appointment confirmation email by clicking the “Modify My Appointment” link in the email (if available) or by contacting us directly.

To cancel an appointment, please contact the Tai Pan Tailor customer service department by phone at (852) 2529 8861 or by email at taipantcl@netvigator.com. You will receive a confirmation email for the appointment modification or cancellation.

Fitting Appointment

You may book a fitting appointment through this Website, subject to the following conditions:
a. You may try on a maximum of three sample garments of selected styles during the fitting service;
b. If you do not arrive at the designated store within the specified service time, the appointment will be considered canceled, and the sample garments reserved for you will be returned to inventory. You will receive a cancellation notification email.

Shipment & Delivery

At the time of ordering, we will provide an estimated timeframe for the delivery of your purchase. This estimate is determined based on our current production schedule and the average shipping duration to your specified address.

Please note that delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed. While we actively oversee production timelines, shipping processes, and final delivery arrangements, we are committed to ensuring your order reaches you as soon as possible. Tai Pan Tailor is not liable for any delays in delivery or any resulting inconveniences, losses, expenses, or other related impacts.

Reporting Concerns

You may submit a complaint or request regarding your product within six (6) months of receiving it. Any faults or defects should be reported as soon as they are identified, with notification within one week of discovery considered reasonable.

When submitting a complaint, please provide a clear description of the issue and, if applicable, how it impacts the product’s functionality or quality. In most cases, concerns can be addressed by sharing clear photographs with our customer service team at taipantcl@netvigator.com. If a physical inspection is required, we will issue a return form and may cover reasonable return shipping costs subject to assessment.

Alteration Services

If garments you purchased require alterations (such as sleeve or trouser length adjustments), we provide professional alteration services. Some initial purchases may include one complimentary basic alteration, as agreed upon at the time of purchase.

Alterations beyond the complimentary scope or subsequent alterations due to changes in personal body shape may be subject to applicable charges. If there are workmanship issues with garments we produced (such as seam splitting), we will provide complimentary repair services. Garment damage caused by improper wear, accidents, or unauthorized third-party alterations is not covered by complimentary services.

Care Consultation

We can provide professional advice on the care of high-end suits, such as dry cleaning frequency, proper hanging, and ironing methods. For complex care or restoration needs, we can assist you in consulting with professional cleaning partners. However, this service may involve third-party fees, and Tai Pan Tailor does not assume responsibility for the quality of services provided by such third parties.

Production Variations

Each custom-made garment is crafted according to the measurements and specifications you provide. If you use our size guide or are measured by our tailors, these measurements are determined based on your body dimensions and preferred fit. Before finalizing your order, you will have the opportunity to preview, review, and confirm your measurements and style selections.

Due to the artisanal nature of our tailoring, minor variations in measurements may occur within industry-accepted tolerances. This is a normal characteristic of handcrafted garments.

Upon delivery, you may notice chalk marks or slight creases from the pressing process. These are normal and can be easily brushed away or will disappear after proper steaming or pressing.

Additionally, slight differences in fabric color may occur due to variations in dye lots. This is a natural characteristic of textile production and does not indicate a flaw.

Warranty and Replacement

If your custom-made garment does not align with the measurements or design specifications of your order—excluding the acceptable tolerances and variations outlined in “Production Variations”—Tai Pan Tailor will, at its discretion, either repair the garment or issue a replacement (or credit) at no additional cost.

Should a return be necessary for a manufacturing defect confirmed by us, we may cover the return shipping costs, provided the garment is sent back in its original packaging and shipped using the most cost-effective method. Detailed return instructions will be provided as needed.

Tai Pan Tailor retains the right to determine whether to repair or replace the item at our discretion. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all submitted measurements and style choices are accurate at the time of ordering. We cannot be held accountable for discrepancies resulting from incorrect measurements provided by the customer.

First-Order Remake Assurance

Your satisfaction is our priority. To give you confidence in your custom-made garments, we offer a Free Remake Guarantee on your first purchase from each product category (e.g., suits, shirts, coats).

If, upon receiving your first custom garment from a category, the fit requires significant adjustments due to our craftsmanship (not due to customer-provided measurement errors), we will work with you to fine-tune your measurements and update your profile, ensuring an improved fit for a remade garment. Terms and conditions for this guarantee are available upon request.

Content and Liability of this WebSite

“Content” is defined as any graphics, pictures, logos, icons, images, photographs (including all image rights), sounds, music, videos, recordings, or text, and their compilation and organization on this Website.
